Bid Managers

Bid managers compliment project managers. But more specifically, bid managers systematize all features of a proposal (bid/response) to “Expression of Interest (EOI)” “Request for Proposal (RFP)” and “Request for tender (RFT)” and other “request for bids”.

More importantly, bid managers must be able to develop “win-strategies” for every proposal they work on.  In addition bid managers lead bids and give clear direction for the proposal team and overall bid management.  Some bids can be high in complexity and high in risk.  The bid manager briefs senior management regularly on all aspects of the proposal (bid/response) project and progress.

And of course, bid managers ensure timely delivery of the proposal (bid/response).

• Manage, implement and apply a structured approach the process to develop a proposal (bid/response)
• Analyze the requirements expressed in the “Expression of Interest (EOI)” “Request for Proposal (RFP)” and “Request for tender (RFT)”

• Monitor content, review content, approve content and ensure the proposal is compliant with the guidelines of the EOI, RFP, RFT
