• Performs due diligence and research on the market prior to targeting business, and gathers information throughout the life of the business
• Conduct a SWOT analysis of his company to create and implement strategic planning
• Network with other business people
• Saves sufficient financial resources for future expansion, or growth
• Follow up on all sales activities and manage pitches and presentations
• Gets in touch with specialized advisors such as accountants, lawyers, and bankers to provide professional information about business
